Famous Last Words: Trying to Find My Routine

I had time to do both readings this week, probably because I was sick on Tuesday and did not go to my class or work so I had time to do some homework at home. My writing this week was not great, at all. I liked my idea for the story, doing a modern version, but it was pretty plain and just the prose in general was not very good. I read someone's story that was about a side character's past and why they ended up being the way they are. I might try to write a backstory about a character in one of my future stories.
I think I am starting to find my routine/schedule for this semester. I still have been doing work for this class according to the due date and not doing them based on my personal schedule. This week has been extra hectic though. Since I missed work on Tuesday, I was behind when I went in on Thursday so I had to take stuff home over the weekend. I also have my first real lab this Monday that I had to prepare for, which is something I haven't had to factor into my schedule yet. Also, I have a really big presentation in my capstone class (ALREADY!) and we have to turn our powerpoint presentation by this Monday (yet another thing that is not a typical assignment I have to worry about). I am extremely nervous/anxious for our presentation on Friday. I have been working on doing the extra credit for this class today so tomorrow I can (hopefully) do my part of the powerpoint presentation (that I can't believe I haven't started yet, so disappointed about how badly I am procrastinating that), finish my work, and prepare myself for lab on Monday.
Next week I plan on being better about doing my assignments early instead of waiting. Next weekend my boyfriend will be busy playing guitar at a conference, so I am planning on getting ahead on all my school work while he is gone.
